Membership Hold Policy  

Can I put my membership on hold?

Membership Holds are an exception, not the rule. Unless otherwise stated in your Membership Agreement, Bikram Yoga Kenya Ltd. is not under any obligation to approve a hold on your membership package. These are reserved for medical or personal emergencies. You may be requested to submit a medical certificate or other document for your hold to be approved.

How much prior notice do I need to give?

Bikram Yoga Nairobi requires 1 week minimum prior notice to process and approve your hold. Please send your request via email to manager@bikramyoganairobi with your reason for requesting the hold.

Process

  • Please send your request via email to manager@bikramyoganairobi with your reason for requesting the hold and the start and end dates of the hold.

  • You will then receive an approval email.

On what packages can I request a hold?

Membership holds may ONLY be considered for the following packages:

  • 6 months Unlimited & VIP

  • 1 Year Unlimited & VIP

  • Monthly Auto Renew & VIP

How many times can I put a hold on my current membership?

  • 6 months Unlimited can be put on hold for a maximum of two (2) times only.

  • 1 year Unlimited can be put on hold for a maximum of three (3) times only.

  • Monthly Auto renew will be put on hold for a full month for a maximum of three (3) times only.

For how long can I put my membership on hold?

For 6 month and 1 year Unlimited Memberships

  • Hold start and end dates can begin any time during the membership.

  • Hold days must be for a MINIMUM of 3 weeks and MAXIMUM of 3 months.

  • Your membership will be paused for the duration of the requested hold and automatically resume either on your first class back or on the hold expiry date, whichever comes first.

For Monthly Auto renew Memberships

  • Holds for Auto-renew Memberships must always begin on the first (1st) day of the month and end on the last day of the month.

  • Holds are authorised in monthly increments only for a minimum of one (1) month and a maximum of three (3) months in a year.

  • You may not request a hold more than three (3) times in a year.

    Purchase and Refund Policy

  • Introductory offers, class packages and memberships start on the first day of use.

  • All membership purchases are non refundable, extendable or transferable from one student to the other.

  • Bikram Yoga Kenya Ltd. will not issue refunds for any unused/ used memberships or class cards.

  • All retail sales are final purchases; no returns or exchanges.
