 We will be confirming our opening times daily on Facebook, Instagram, and our website. In case there are any circumstances that prevent our staff from safely commuting to the studio we may have to cancel classes. So please check online 90 minutes before class to ensure there are no changes to our schedule.

WHAT IS BIKRAM YOGA?


Bikram Yoga is a 90 minute series of 26 Hatha yoga postures and two breathing exercises, carried out in a room heated to 40 degrees celcius and 40 percent humidity. The combined heat and humidity increase muscle flexibility and can help to prevent injuries. Bikram Yoga is also very detoxifying, releasing large numbers of toxins through the breath and through the skin by sweating.


FIRST TIME TO BIKRAM YOGA???


  • BRING a bottle of water.
  • WEAR something close-fitting, ideally containing lycra, so that it doesn’t stick to you when you are sweaty.
  • EAT a light meal around three hours before class.  Don’t come to class on a full stomach.
  • DRINK plenty of water throughout the day before you do yoga so that you come to class hydrated.
